By car

You can get to San Sebastián from the national highway A-1 (Madrid-Irun) and the motorway AP-8, A-63 and AP-15. The city centre has a low-emissions zone that limits vehicle traffic.

By air
San Sebastián has three nearby airports: One just 20 km from the city centre, with connections to Madrid and Barcelona. Bilbao airport is 100 km away and Biarritz at 40 km, with international connections.

By train

La estación del norte (RENFE) está cerrada por las obras relacionadas con el TAV (Tren de Alta Velocidad). La estación provisional de Renfe está ubicada en la plaza Nestor Basterretxea. Acceso por el Paseo del Duque de Mandas, al lado de Tabakalera.

Buses

San Sebastián Donostia Geltokia station, at 1 Federico García Lorca, next to Estación del Norte RENFE train station, connects the city with others in Spain and Europe.

By bike
We’ll propose three routes to reach San Sebastián from the east, west and south of the city. They have been designed taking into account the cycle lanes or bidegorris, with the least traffic possible, and the flattest routes. Access them through Wikiloc:
