Low-Emissions Zone (ZBE)
Donostia has a ZBE that only allows vehicles that comply with the specified environmental requirements into the centre. Nevertheless, you can park very close to the centre.
Se recomienda no acceder en coche al centro de la ciudad. En su lugar, aparcar el coche en el parking disuasorio de Illunbe y moverse en transporte público, en bici o a pie.

OTA Zona Azul
The blue areas are ticket parking for a limited time: there are areas for 1.5 hours, 3 hours, 5 hours and up to 9 hours. You have to buy a ticket at the machines to be able to park. You can consult the maximum stay in each area with this link:

Sites for camper vans
San Sebastián has two overnight areas for camper vans: one for a fee in the Igara car park and one in Ilumbe. There are also two camp sites: Wecamp and Igara.
The reserved overnight system for camper vans has some compulsory rules. In these areas you can park but not camp, you can use levelling wedges and stabilisers, but you can’t set up tables and chairs on the street. As these are residential areas, maximum respect for the locals in these areas is required.

Recovering vehicles from the municipal pound
The municipal towtruck can impound vehicles for improper parking. In general, you can go directly to the pound and recover your vehicle immediately, after paying the corresponding fee. If you can’t find your car, contact the municipal pound:
